Is it only at higher RPM's? If so its a little internal wear and tear. Just keep up on scheduled mantenance and be a little nicer to it.

when you first start the car it will be fine for about 20 seconds then it will constantly smoke. when you rev it on the decell its worse. But even at idle its pretty bad. I replaced it with another stock ihi with i dotn know how many miles. But it was fine for two days would it really crap out that fast? on 15psi....

the oil level is fine. I couldnt see the valves going because as soon as i put on the other turbo it stopped for two days. The car has hardpipes so i have one of those little filters on acting as a breather from the valve cover and someone is saying that could cause the turbine seals to blow..

check your cylinders for water i had the exact same smoke.
i would turn on the car then shortly after clouds of smoke... i figured old oil from my old turbo too but no i ended up checking my spark plugs and there was water on them. my head had lifted off the block letting water into the cylinders but amazingly not mixing it with my oil. so check your spark plugs and cylinders and let us know if that's the problem. |

But how does putting another turbo on it solve the issues for two days? |

ssounds like your piston rings buddy. easy way to check this is do a compression check see if it holds the compression if it slowly loses compression drop a couple drops of oil in the cylinder and test it again if it holds the compression better this time around it's definetly rings.

I dont have a tester. I just cant see it being rings as the car was fine after the turbo swap. |

the testers are really cheap can be bought at any car parts store. my only guess is that for a short while after the swap some oil was still left in the cylnder cause the rings to seal and hold compression how it's suppose to and once it burned up the the ring began to burn which causes whitish blue smoke. i mean it could be only one cylinder having this problem and the engine can run fine but that;s jsust my guess from experience.
