MSD install

i got myself a MSD SCI box and a tach adapter. i already had a blaster 2 coil. it is fairly simple and went right in. its not as clean as gavins but it works. so far it started better and idled better. we will see if it feels better tonite on my way to our local meet. here are some pics or it installed on the 626.











91 626 DX, 89 F2T swapped, probinator chipped ecu, 2.5 inch exhaust and downpipe, zebel housing, 10 psi, mazdaspeed FSTB, blaster2 coil, pacesetter sts, rstb and lower tie bar, suby calipers, rear disc brakes, PGT rear swaybar, eibach springs, MSD 6A

well the sad thing was it stopped working later on that nite!! stupid honda guy, i will never buy parts from them again!!! anywho, i found a MSD 6A and installed it and it does run great!

How hard is to install a MSD 6A?

89' Lx to 89' GT Swap/Stock Turbo/Probinator Chip 15psi/8.5mm Magnecor Wires/Msd Blaster 2/P&P Head/Exedy Clutch/AWR Trailing Arm/GT Rear Disc Conv/Pacesetter Short Shifter/Upper Bar from Bulldog Racing,Rstb and Lower Tie Bar/ 2 MazdaSpeed Bucket Seats.

Easier starting, reduced plug fouling and complete combustion. So yes.

it was easy. it took an hour to install and tidy up. so far its been good

What plugs/gap are you using right now?

Also, for this install, use the parts listed in Gavin's write up?

Squirted 1g GT - T04E 57trim - 550's - Deltamark II External WG - P/S+A/C Delete - Four Vacuum Lines - Open Dump - 18psi

stock NGK and mazda NGK wires. i already had a blaster 2 coil and my setup is just like gavins.
