Do we need the IACV?

Can we just do without it, make a block-off plate?

first question - why?

second - which one? There are two. One is controlled electronically by the ecu. A second uses the coolant that flows through it to determine (mechanically) how much air to let past.

I'm running ms, but i'm just using the coolant one.
