the oil return is the line coming out the bottom of the turbo with a large rubber hose.

Sure, but unless there's huge kinks in it or it's leaking like crazy, it should be pretty easy to see if it's bad or not.

Is it rubber? I've never had a stock one on my car.

what do you mean they want $90 for the hose, you tube will never damage.
I just bought a set of 2 coolant and ! return line for the stock turbo at the dealer and it cost me $$22 for all. the return hose is $9. but i think you should seriously look at what you paying for

you can get a brand new catridge for $300. all you have to do is use your previous compressor and turbine housing.

yeah i know they just wanted 90 dollars for the small 90 degree bent hose, there is no way im spending anything near that for a 4 inch peice of hose that i dont even need anymore...i never really looked at the line before until last night i took it off and it was clear so i dont need that, now i just need a turbo i think the seals are shot in mine there is oil in the exhaust like in the tail pipe, and there is a ton of oil in the intake hoses and there is oil in the intake of the turbo when i took the hose off...so im thinking thats my problem
