Mine does the exact same thing...but only when it is cool outide, and I have to open my window everyday. I would really like to fix it as well.

hello,

Silicone spray from mazda is really good for inside and outside of the windows. I had the same thing on my 1st generation. It helped a lot and no more times where it wouldn't go down.

I hope this helps you,

Anthony

hello again,

Don't open the whole door assembly up...just spray it around onto the weatherstrips or rubber or molding all around. Put a towel across so the silicone doesn't go onto the paint. you need to especially spray it were the bottom of the glass meets the molding. Do it from inside and outside. Have the window up all the way, roll it down, and then up and again. This really helped me, I thought it was the regulator it wasn't it just needed some silicone spray let me know how it works out.

cheers!!!

Anthony

Thumbs down window track sucks

Man do I hate that part of my car. You should be carefull, mine started doing that, and a month later the whole dam window went straight down. I took it apart and those beads had broken off the part of the window that lowers and raises it. I went to a junkyard to get a replacement, it cost me $75 USED! I cant imagine how much it cost from Mazda. My two cents.

I drift an 86 .
