been looking and haven't found anything like my problem. when it's cold it won't start, it will run for maybe 3 seconds then if i keep cranking it nothin, but if i turn if all the way off and try to start it again same thing run then die. it will die something when im driving but it will kick back on and be fine.
here what i did so far
-check codes and have code 1
-fuel filter
-fuel pump
-check spark when it dies and still have spark
-good fuel pressure
Have you checked the fuel transfer pump and control unit? The shape of the 4WS fuel tank requires two pumps; the main supply pump and a transfer pump. You might be low on the main pump side and the transfer pump isn't kicking in.
i can here both pumps working. would that pop on the check engine light? if i un-plug the fuel pump when its running its not the same reacion, that more of a stumbling and that doesn't pop on the light
I believe code 1 is for distributor signal. have you swapped distributors? It could also mean that you have a no fire event, so possibly stock igniter is going bad as well. If those don't fix it, then likely you have either a plugged fuel filter or your pump is working, but is not supplying enough fuel.
