After discovering that I've almost spent as much in fuel costs driving my F-150 for nine months as I did in my MX-6 for two years I've decided that I'd really like to start driving the car again and only use the F-150 when I need a truck. Plus, baby seats fit better in a car than a pickup. To that end, I'm trying to determine how much stuff I can swap over to the '90 from the '89 without having to get too in depth (that work will be saved for warmer weather). I know I can swap over all front sheet metal, bumpers, and the trunk lid but what I'm wondering is this:
Will the 1genA door harness plug into the 1genB body harness?
Both cars are currently buried in snow and 40 minutes from me, thus I can't check myself. I'm wondering if anyone else has swapped doors between these two configurations with any luck. I'm hoping to be able to get two working power windows out of this as I currently have a manual window (driver's side) and an inoperable power window (passenger side). Plus, the car will look a lot better the more single-colour body panels are on it....
