More questions!!

Hey guys as some of you may know I'm only new to mx6's..
Just have a couple of questions:

Number 1: when I try and shift from 5th back to 4th sometimes it won't select.
If I put the clutch in and go from 5th to 4th and it doesn't select I keep the clutch in and select 3rd with the clutch in then back to 4th.
Sometimes it's fine..
No crunching or anything shifts up fine from 3rd to 4th.
What's causing it? Is it major?

And number 2: Has anyone got pictures of a stock intercooler on their 89 mx6?
Mine has been butchered and had the front bar cut to fit a wrx intercooler.
I'm thinking of getting rid of this intercooler and going back to standard and find another bumper that hasn't been cut.

how are your shifter bushings ? By now they'd be in a pretty bad way if they havent been replaced recently. These cause alot of gear selection woes.

Cant help you with the intercooler part.

Only bought the car last week.
Haven't been able to look under it.
Might see if I can borrow my mates hoist!
