I highly doubt you have any experience to back up that statement...

Yes, it is an mx6 engine mounted for RWD in an RX7. Any ?s should be directed here:

This works in theory only.

Wait until you have to pull the motor out 2-3 times.

I pretty much just wanted to see if you guys were right or not. I have a 93 RX7 so I was going to put the mx6 engine in a similar chasis and see which one would be meaner. Since my RX7 has hit the 400hp mark it would probably be fairly expensive to catch the mx6 engine up.

All I gotta say is that is awesome,,I have 5 1stgen Rx7s and 2Mx6GT.One of my Rx7's is sporting a piston motor V8 350" and one of them has no motor at the moment..It would be a cool swap to try (I have 2 Fe2t motor on my garage floor)..I've already did alot to my other 3Rx7 one of them is a 13B TII,and my favorite is a custom street ported 12A with an IHI turbo(mx6GT turbo),with Dellorto side draft carbs...and GSL SE rear end and tranny,,Let us know how this project ends...

I don't understand! See if we were right about what? And do you plan on doing the necessary upgrades to make it to the 450 hrspwr mark?

no, I'll be selling it most likely with the extra block, brand new head, spare head, rx7 interior parts, extra rx7 wiring harnesses and panels, spare wheels, etc .... pretty much a 4 ft box loaded onto a pallet full of extra parts

I burned the donor car . There are some pictures in the gallery at Free Chat : The Forum Lounge Chat - Powered by vBulletin. I don't know if any finished pictures were ever posted. I actually still have the car. It's been sitting at my warehouse neglected. I drove it a few times and got bored with it. Tends to happen when you have a third gen rx7 to play with. I'll see if I can snap a pic while I'm out there today.
