help with clutch

ey guys,

yesterday i jumped into my car to leave a friends and the clutch pedal stuck to the floor. i had to manually pull it back out. when the pedal was on the floor i couldnt change gear so it wasnt engaged. it doesnt stick everytime but here and there it does. is this my clutch stuffed or is it the spring or cable or something? when the pedal is back in normal position and driving it does not slip.

i am gonna take it to the mechanics tomrrow but i dont trust any of them so what do i need to know? can i fix it myself?

thanks guys

Try bleeding the clutch. do a search on the proper way to do it.

Also, check for leaks under the dash near the clutch pedal. It sounds like a hydralic problem, very easy and cheap to fix yourself if you know what you're doing.

I had that same problem. I had to add more dot4 fluid and blead the clutch.
