Question headlights high beam wont work please help

My headlights on my 91 Mazda mx6 stopped working. High beams will not work. I have checked all fuses, but could not find one for headlights. Could I have burnt out both headlights?:

Aren't our stock headlights bulbs a dual filament? If yes, then maybe you did blow both high beams at once. If no, then it's probably the high beam fuse or the high beam relay. More likely a fuse than a relay, but check both.

missing fuse

I looked at the fuse box located next to the battery and I noticed it was missing a fuse for the headlights. I passed it by last time because it only says head. How could it be that a fuse could just end up missing, the headlights worked fine before. I think that the mechanic that came by to quote the installation of the timing belt must have taken it out, and was hoping for me to call for repairs. What do you guys think?

A smart "crooked" mechanic would just blow the fuse, a dumb "crooked" mechanic would take the fuse out, it probably happens all the time.

I had a similar issue after fixing my car. I ended up having to ground part of the radiator support to the A/C line that hooks up to the conencer.
