thats true, however, long enough in the spline to properly engage the friction disk, and long enough in the nose to properly seat in the pilot bearing. especially if you offset the bearing in its hole by 50%.

fred-

there is no way I'll find one of these bells in the states- but I would love to have one for my truck- how much would it cost me if you got me one- or four?

mate, i havent even seen one in months, and i'm leaving the country in 10 weeks, and have to finish my ute in 5.5 weeks. the chances of me getting one to you is not good. it may be worth the while of some other kiwi to get you one if theres a bit of margin in it for them. i may be able to hook you up with a mate. think approx 250nz of postage, 150nz of parts, and 100 bucks nz in the pocket of some dude to pull it and send it to you. so circa 350us i guess. if some one will do it. and if they can find one. sorry to break the news to you. perhaps make up an adapter plate from sheet ally and use the stock bell on your box. or wait two years till i get back and see if i am still ok with getting dirty under [shizzle]ty old cars at pap...

most humble appologies.

fred.

to the stinking UK for a year or two NO MORE though. i love it here and it breaks my heart to go, and esp to leave my boat and the ocean and my ute behind... but its about time the girl had her way. shes suffered me long enough. no holidays, constant working on cars, no money until this year... etc. dont worry, i'll be back, and unless it gets nicked or burnt or something while i'm away, i'll be doing more stuff until i get two things : 50 50 weight dist, and handling as good as the skyline or better.

have a look at the email list, and pick out cam walker. email him, he could do with some cash right now, knows how to turn a spanner, was there when i pulled the first one off, and is a good bloke (helping me out a LOT at the moment while i'm under major time pressure)
