Ohhh... Shell Extreme 100 Octane is avail in Melb, Aus!!! with 5% ethanol. Tried it on my FE DOHC GTR, sweet... consider at $1.21/L atm, not too bad, but the bad thing is that because it got so much smother top end, its hard to keep ur foot off the accel pedal! haha, so for the last 80Ls i've been through, its shown the burning rate at 11-12L/100kms at high rev (most of the time), so thas not toooo bad at all for a stock FE. Oh yeah, a guy in a Mini CooperS stared at me funnily at the Servo, thinking y is this guy wasting money on 100octane in that piece of shizzle black Cappella GTR. WEll, we got out of the servo at the same time, and he was chasing me down... ok, after one roundabou, I left him for dead! all the way to 160... hahah, well, prob because he fiilled his with 98 octane!

why is this thread still here?

still getting lousy mileage, did a personal best of 430km to 55l the other day.

gas prices are here to stay, get over it, or ride a bike.

fred.

$4.00 + in California. It's still been $2.00 a litre in Canada for as long as I can remember.

In that case, ride the bus. That saves a shltload of gas and you'll likely meet a chick who has less money than you do. Problems solved.

That being said, I have NEVER worried about the price of gas. I fill my tank and thats it. I'm not the kind of person who ponders trivial things like $.60 saved on a gallon. Who gives a crap? If you're worried about $3.60 savings per tank, don't drive a car.

I wondered why this thread was even started....

Ways to save gas.......

1) As you said......just don't drive! This is why you have two feet, and a heart beat!
2) Buy a Hybred Car.....but really, you won't save the money, as the cars are expensive to begin with!
3) Buy an electric car, again, expensive, and you can't go very far!

Or, like evryone else...... wipe your tears, and drive, walk, or sit at home...
Its really not complicated at all! LMAO!

Tengo zapatos blancos y camisa rojo.

It seems that after I took out my passenger seat and AC, I now have better gas efficiency. But anyway, gas prices ftl.
