Glasspack

How bad would a glasspack sound on our cars? Not a huge one but just enough to give it a different sound. Opinions?

A muffler. Depends on what you do with the rest of the exhaust system.

i have a staight exhaust 2 1/2 all the way with no cat with a glass pack at the end and to me it sounds badass really deep tone not annoying at any frequency...then i put a highflow cat on and it didn't change the sound

My GT was brought back from the grave and im slowly putting it back.

heyitsmikey128 has a GT, so it's got a turbo to help quiet it down.

On your NA LX it'll sound like crap.

ewww.......glasspacks!!!
I agree, on a N/A, it will sound AWEFULL!!!!!

On a turbo.......meh, if you have to i guess........ with 2.5 exhaust, a cat, and the glass pack, it shouldn't be too bad.
I had 2.5, with a cat, and no muffler, and it wasn't too bad, so the glass pack would just tone it down a bit.

BUT IT WILL SOUND LOUD AND ANNOYING ON A LX.....

Sorry, I looked out the window and just yelled. I have a no name stainless 3" outlet muffler straight in/out that I really like the sound of, especially at idle. One of these days though I want to have a resonator put into the exhaust since my bigger exhaust didnt have one.

thats what i have, it sounds like a pickup lol. Might have to do w/ my turn down, but i couldn't afford the muffler lol.

For an N/A - just make sure you have a cat, a resinator, and a muffler with a tip no bigger than your piping. Thats prob the best thing you can do - 2.5 is pretty big for an N/A so it'll be fun to quiet down. Good Luck!
