The N/A engine will take the boost fine, but the injectors and ECU won't support the boost or any large amount. That almost what they tried to do to this car, they had a GT transmission a and block (cv's, mounts, spindles and shifter assembly), that I know off, cant tell if it's a gt head but I would guess no as I had to change the rear housing (one of the sensors has different sized thread between 88/89 and 90+), and the intake mani was N/A. so was the exhaust... I never tried GT injectors with an N/A ECU but I have tried N/A injectors with a GT ecu (no turbo at the time and it ran way ritch), the car wouldn't Idle with the N/A injectors I assume the GT injectors deliver more gas at the same voltage and running them with a N/A ecu would idle way to ritch. But you need the intercooler and pipes, the GT downpipe and at least a GT exhaust or larger, A knock sensor would be a good Idea at 8.6:1 compression. How much will what be? What year is your car? |
