Wow I'm suprised that he hasn't taken advantage of this.
If it was me I would be stocking up on them so i could sell them to everyone.
And I would try to put a patient (but I wouldn't try too hard seeing that I problably wouldn't need one)

This is like the first bulk buy that could atually work and Hes not even selling it!!!
LOL Man this sucks....

I'm still not happy with the amount of testing I've done with them. i.e. less than 300km's. I've been a bit weary about the pad over hang. Using a disc that is almost 40mm larger in diameter than stock means that there is about 3mm overhang at the peak of the radius. But the need to get a car up and running reliably for work is a higher priority at the moment.

If I do a group buy, my guess is that they wont sell in the numbers I need to get them done at a reasonable price, as there are people who want a pair for US$40. So why would I waste my time? Machining isn't free you know......

I would revise the design if I was to sell them anyway.

I would pay more than that and I think a lot of others would too.
I really want to be able to stop fast. I think thats more of a priority than making my car go faster.

Safety first!!

How much would you want to sell them for then? Be nice don't charge an extreme amount.

It doesn't have to be a bulk buy. It would be nice to have a bulk buy but, everyone knows how that goes.
In all honesty you lose nothing by trying. Who knows it might work out for everyone. If not then you haven't spent anymore money and everyone goes home the same at the end of the day.

Yeah fair point. I want to redesign the bracket using steel with a different way of mounting the caliper. Once I've got one made I'll look into building them for people. I'll have to see how much it'll cost to make them first.

Please if you are going to do a bulk buy please have everything sorted beforehand.

Like laser cutting availability at a set price per batch, machine work availability at a set price per batch, material, etc.

That way you can ask for a downpayment to cover those costs and leave the balance to cover postage & handling and your cut.

Edit: here is a link to a small run machine shop in Melbourne Macquarie Precision Engineering - 3D CNC Machining, Turning, Milling

If you can measure and e-mail me your dimensions including a plan view pic with scribe/pen line of the hub ears that would need to be machined down.
Along with the spacer length that you used.
I can have a 3D Pro-Engineer model e-mailed back to you by Tuesday.

No pressure just trying to help you get the ball rolling.

Thanks for the offer mx_masta. I'll get the next revision done and I'll let you know. I'm not happy with the current design. Once I've got some extra time I'll go about looking into it again.
