HKS PFC F-CON Harness VS Probinator Chip

i was reading a little bit on the pfc f-con harness From hksusa.com, for the MX-6 gt and this sounds like a good add for our stock F2T. i also read some good things the Probinator chip can do for cars as well. so my question is, just between these two, if one were to choose, which one would be the best choice? OR could you mate the two together?

p.s.

what numbers have generated from the PFC F-Con setup on our stock F2T'S OR slightly modded ones?

Well you could possibly buy a probinaor chip for hald of the 1gen community for the price of a full funtional FCON setup. Check the pricing
I've used the probinator chip aswell as others and they do the job for te most common mods

Are you sure the Fcon is still available(brand new that is) for our 88-92 mx6?

FCON is available. Its the plug and play harness that he would have to get that may or may not be still available

i know a new harness for the 88-89 is harder to find then an unicorn.

Really, do you have a link for the FCON unit specifically for the 88-92 mxg GT? I found the harness but no 88-92 MX6 GT specific FMS

no they are not universal. the chip is made specifically for each cars. the ecu can be interchangable. but the pfc fcon comes with d series and e series ecu. the mx6 and the probe have an e series chip so it will only work for the e series ecu box.

That harness is even harder to find than the box.

Ebay always has FCON stuff FS on it tho...

yeh the vpc also have a chip, but thats if you are not using fcon, you can either use a vpc and gcc without maf or you fcon. they both use a chip. but in our case, the vpc are not available for us. v

on the box, it will say some numbers then i think the 5 or 6 letters will be either E or d. or u can just open the box up and look at the chip, they will have E and numbers on then
