Looking for suggestions on slim radiator fans (please first hand experience only)

I was recently required to remove the factory fans and have 12" x 24" x 2" space open for possibly dual slim fans, however they have to be push fans. I am liiking at Fluidyne, Zirgo, and a few other not so popular brands. I would love some first hand experience. Thanks for looking guys.

i just installed one in my turbo colt, and have installed a few in the past.

they are extremely easy to install. hardest part is wiring it up, and even that is extremely easy.

sometime you dont have to ask this kind of question. If you spend the time to read the instruction in the 1st place, then u will know its extremely easy. 15 min install tops.

I just wondered about the durrability of some brands some of you may have tried. The instilation is no problem.

ive used the brand halden. or something like that. there cheaper, but work just as well as a spal. why spend extra cash on a product that all do the same thing pretty much.

I have one I went to AutoZone and asked for a slim line fan, they had a
12" and a 10", I got the 10". I have had no problems with it. The wiring was easy I just cut off the connector from the stock cooling fan and cut off the conector off the new fan and used butt conectors to splice it the old conectors onto the new fan harness that way you can plug and unplug it whenever you need to. The stock harness was a female connector as was the slim fan connector, thats why I swapped the connectors. Be careful before you crimp the connectors on because depending what side of the radiator you want to mount your new fan, the wires can be reversed to change the direction of rotation.

I just have an auto store special (generic) 12" fan on mine, and it cools better than the stock fan did. THinking for summer I might splice in my other generic 10" pusher to help out...

so it looks like people go with 12" for the puller?

might have to do this. i'm sick of having to pull my radiator just to work on the turbo etc.

YEah, I dont think a generic 10" would suffice. But then again, its all about how much air it pulls, not how big it is...

My bro got his from autozone. Its a 10 inch fan IIRC, but since his other mx3 that is currently down(for a good while) I am using it on my mx6. It works great. Though I have it running all the time. I need a new temp switch sensor to make it turn off/on which I'll probably grab at the junkies this week end.
