3 wire denso o2 sensor to 1 wire?

i searched for a bit with no answers. i ordered the correct 1 wire sensor on ebay and they sent me a 3 wire (1 white, 2 black) version. so before i send this back, is it possible to simply splice one of the wires to my single wire connector? i'm hoping so, cuz i really don't want to wait a week and a half to receive the correct one. thanks.

Its usually two white and one black.

I would guess that the two wires the same colour are the heater wires (which is all a 3 wire sensor is, heated as opposed to unheated) 4 wire sensors are just a heated sensor with the sensor ground separate from the chassis.

simply don't connect the heater wires. If you want to do more than guess use an ohm meter and measure resistance between the suspected heater wires and the chassis.
A low resistance between the two and no connection to the chassis will probably mean its the heater connection.

Driving around without an 02 sensor isnt that much of a problem. I probably would wait the 10 days myself.

i had the colors wrong... it's 1 blue 2 black. blue is signal, blacks are heaters.
