Energy Suspension Sway bar end link Busing
I went an picked up a set today. Can anyone tell me that has installed them how much of a difference they make? I need to replace mine anyway the are dry rotted to hell and then back. I figure I will do the front first and see how they do and then do the rear. I mean I only spent a total of $10.94 on them so I will probally not be upset just want to know what to expect.

I picked up sway bar bushings as well as endlinks,I have yet to install them,I am waiting to get a quote from Mazda for every rubber bushing under the car,I figure if I cant get poly right away,i'll settle for rubber untill I can get a definate answer on prices and full sets from a poly company,I think itll make a noticable difference....

isnt it funny how you spend SO MUCH MONEY on "MODS"...but completely brain fart on one of the most important things to have in good working order on your car....THE BUSHINGS

the problem with bushings....
once you start to replace your old wornout rubber bushings with new poly ones, is that if not all done at or about the same time, you will age the remaining ones faster. while i expect most of you will know and understand, you may not realize that it will be worse than if you left it alone.
it has been my experience that a poly bushing set and tuning the suspension is a better mod than adding more power. this will allow a higher speed in the turns and better trackability on the road. |

the size for the rear sway bar bushings are 16mm and the front are 18mm,the rear are really easy to do,easy to get at,the fronts are a little harder, and also you need to have the car resting on all four wheels while you do it,as far as the endlink set,the number that energy gives you is only for a set of bushings...its not for the whole endlink set,so i just used my old enlink setup with new energy bushings....and as far as getting some in Aus......there is a company that offers a whole setup in Aus...

the rear sway bar bushing only comes as a bushing, you have to use your existing bracket, the front sway bar bushing comes with a bracket....and the endlinks dont comes with the hardware for an install...you have to use your old hardware....or match up with the proper endlink set....thats a pain in the (_!_) though
