Got My New Computer. Sds Em3f, having fun installing it.

Well, I thought I was getting the sds em4-4F system, but instead I recieved the em3F system. I talked to the guy that sold it to me and he siad he could have sworn it was the 4f. I call the manufatur to see if they even supported it and they said everything was the same as the 4F system except for a few features that aren't going to effect weather I can or cant pull hp out of it. Also all the 4F stuff works on the 3F. All in all I'm very happy.
I've download the manul and have started on my project. The guy I bought it from even gave me an autometer boost gauge with the system.
So far I've pulled all the injector harrness and I'm working on swaping throttle bodies. I was using the USD tb on this motor beacuse it had extra vacum ports but the JDM tb is much better and doesn't have vacum ports. Also I have modded the air intake system and removed the VAF. It should be a few weeks before the car is up and running. I'm waiting for a friend to send me the specs for the CAS braket.

TB pics
This is an old pic but the one on the right is the FE3 tb. The butterfiles are reversed and there are not vacum lines.

THose specs are for the FE3 ecu. I'm doing a complete standalone but I do need the wireing specs for the F2 ecu. I need to know a few things.
IE:
How do I wire the factory tach?
How do I wire the factory temp gauge?
How do I make the check engine engine light come on when I put the car in the on position but dont turn the car "on".
How do I make thew fuel pump turn on with out wiring it to the SDS?

i was reading turbo magazine and came across an advertisement for a new programable engine management system from AEM, so i look at there web site and found that they make them for mazda miata, prodege and rx7, so my question is do you think if you bought the one for the rx7 we could adapt it to work for the fe3, i think it has all the same features as the em-4f system you guy's have and probobaly for a fraction of the cost?

-Wire the Yellow/Blue wire for the tach to the output of your coil or ECU (depending on the kind you have)
-Factory Temperature guage should be unaffected, it runs directly off the sensor
-Check Engine light is junk. if u STILL want it to come on (for legal reasons) then you can wire it from a relay that will be closed when the fuel pump is not on. So whenever the fuel pump is off, the relay will turn your Check light on.
The fuel pump is controlled by the VAF... but since its gone, maybe you can use a special relay from ... say... a MAP powered stock car or something... when u turn the key ON it pressurizes the line for like 3 seconds and turns off, until you crank, that way you'll save your Injectors and fuel lines.
just some random thoughts, good luck and keep me posted on that CAS bracket, pleeeeeeeease!!!

Bridge the +12 from the oil light to the CEL light. Will work well to fake out the emissions people. The light will simply emulate the oil light.

I went to install the injector harrness and the injectors on the FE3 have a little notch on the plug thats off centered. The sds plug in is in the center. Should I just cut off the little tab so it will work? (I hope that made sence)
