Unfortunately most of the mx3's are 4 cylinders, and almost ALL are 92-93. I would never own that 92-93 interior, it is hideous compared to the 94+
I wasn't big on the MX3 before I got one. It kind of fell into my lap and it was a 94 V6, so what the hell. The handling and feel of the car has really grown on me. The condition of it is fading (paint, glass, etc) but mechanically it is very sound.
It has given me way less problems than my 1g MX6 GT did. That mx6 ALWAYS had something breaking, not just engine and drivetrain. Stupid stuff like window switches, power steering, door handles, interior panels falling off. God I do not miss that car. I sold it 3 years ago and have NEVER had a regret.
The V6 is a hybrid of sorts. It shares the suspension of the escort (I replaced both my front hubs with escort ones), but the trans and engine are nearly the same as the mx6. The exception being the axles. And of course the K8... but that's easier than hell to swap.
