MX6.com - View Single Post - My "new" mx-6

it's my second one. I have been driving an mx-6 1988 for about 3 years now. problems here and there but i love the car. about a week ago i got another one. this guy that had seen my car asked me if i wanted to et parts from another one he had before he had it junked. i said sure and when i saw it i told him that i would pay him what the junk yard was going to give him. i gave him 200 bucks.

Anyway, this car drove for about 4 miles before i called AAA to take it all the way to my house. i swear i can make it work properly again but i would like some help from the awesome people here at MX6.com.

it heats up really fast and it wont go on afterthat. about an hour ago i changed the oil which was really dark, i put in a new oil and air filter, and i am changing the spark plugs which were pretty burnt out. the reason why i haven't finished is because one of the spark plugs has a added treading on it and i have never seen that done before. the second socket for the plugs has been altered for whatever reason and the plug i have for it is too thin. i haven't look it up much yet does anyone know where i can get such a thing? also, does anyway have any other suggestions as to what i should changed before i go on with this car? any help is very much appreciated. thanks in advance.
