Bowhunting

Me and my mate are about to get into it. Despite me coming across as very anit-gun Ive done a fair bit of gun hunting before in Turkey and have played with a fibreglass bow at school camp etc, was fairly decent at it. Planning on shooting some small feral's, rabbits and foxes and maybe move up to pigs if we get any serious at it. Any advice anyone can give?

Still deciding whether to go with a recurve or a compound, trip to archery store tomorow should get me some more tips. I would just go get a .22 rifle or something, but gun laws in Australia are pretty tight and it costs money and effort(and that is how it should be). Bow's are not legistlated at all however.
