I read a recent article on how they can make ethanol from grass just the same way they can make it from corn. Problem is the chemical process is much larger and by the time the process is complete its more than $5 a gallon. There is a company working to chemically engineer a type of grass that is easier to make ethanol from. When that day arrives gas prices will be 50 cents again. (if that day arrives)
