I just replaced teh LCD on my laptop for work. I had to remove the keyboard, wireless card, button bezel, and the edging around the screen. I had the whole thing apart and reassembled in under 1 hour.

The keyboad was held in by 2 screws and 2 sping clips after i removed the button bezel.

I have never owned a mac but on any computer the keyboad should be one of the easiest things to remove since it basically uncovers 70 percent of the MOBO and you can change half of the components if they fail.
