Yes, I did notice a difference in performance on fitting this pipe, but had a scary moment on the motorway last month when I hit a wall of standing water at 90 in torrential rain (BTW, everyone buy Silblade wipers - they're literally unbelievably good!), and the engine made nasty noises...

Most of the bits for my intakes came from a Pipercross Viper kit, apart from the filter itself and ancillaries.

The silver one comes out thru a hole in the plastic just ahead of the nearside wheel. The trumpet is mounted on a foot and a bit-long heavy-duty rubber sleeve that was a pain, literally, to squeeze through the D-shaped gap to the nearside of the radiator. Then, it's got the up-pipe sitting freely within it.

Why didn't you use the sealed viper filter?
