I didn't go for the Viper because a) the Viper wasn't out when I went induction, and b) the price of Vipers is just stupid - STUPID, for what you get.

Final point, with a low-level filter, if you drive through deep enough water, you'll suck it up into the engine, and also get a wet filter. With my setup, the pipes may get a bit wet, but even if the ends of both feeds are completely underwater, the induction kit will still draw dry air from the engine bay. If it gets much deeper than that, your problems will be with the exhaust, or electrical.
