That's good information, I was just avoiding going there. For the record, the reason it doesn't affect sound as much as one would think is that the speaker's efficiency rises with the impedence curve as you get closer to the resonent frequency (Fs) of the speaker (actually, the Fs of the speaker/box sysytem).

Again, if anyone wants to dive into this or other more advanced functions of impedence, etc., please start another thread!!!
