1) how is the ride compared to stock?(by ride i don't care about soft i mean performance/cornering)
Not sure with those particular springs, but the Illuminas (White ones) are not a very nice ride, but the best for performance. The Blues are a great riding strut with an added performance over stock.

From the cars Ive riden in, the ground controls are a more controlled ride, a lot more performanc eoriented. Not the smoothest. I have the Blues/eibach on my car and they ride very smooth.

Id guess that it was easier to find a camber plate to modify to fit the 1g struts (Blues) on the back. The 2g ones were probably easy to do on the front.
