Check the condition of the "Meter" and "Engine" fuses, and give them a clean if needed..
However, if I had to guess, I would say the ignition switch is faulty..
If when you have the problem, the turn signals, sunroof and power windows don't work either, then that would confirm the switch for me... and especially if the headlights and door locks still do..
