now i know where i got that thought from. i am looking at my sport compact car mag, the one with the "how to pick a turbo" article. i am looking at the junkyard dogs in the 2200cc to 2600cc range. they list the mitsubishi te04h-13c, then they list garrett t3 right after that, and they say that these turbos belong to chrysler 2.2liter, various shelbys, omnis, etc.
the fact that they mention garrett is what made me think that the garretts i saw in the junkyard belonged to chrysler 2.2's.
