Spiderlites led's?

I was looking into purchasing a set of spiderlites for my car ( spiderlite.com )
but there are three sizes, so I was wondering does anyone know the interior size of the opening for our tail light housing Whats the biggest size I could purchase. the largest one is 4.14 inchs wide... also which rear lights do we use stock? 1156's or 1157's ? I would just check my car out, but I'm in iraq.... Thanks in advance..

Wow, those things are crazy.

Talk about LED tails now a very easy modification.

We use both 1156 and 1157 in our tails. One is for blinker and one is for brake lights.

Cant remember which is which offhand....

Also, due to the internals of our tails i dont know if you could fit those things in there when they are "collapsed"

In our tails they won't expand and form a pattern as they do on the pics because the bulbs in our tails are mounted in an angle rather than directly from behind.

Well, if you look at pic below you'll see that all bulb sockets exept reverse lights are directed towards the sides of car. Just like in stock lights.

If you dont do the blinkers, then you would only be spending 200, but yeah, 50 bucks a peice is a little high....

Its what you get from new product.

One thing i like about it is that it has leds on both sides so not only does it shine in the tri-or 5 leg pattern, it also utilizes the reflector as well..... Very smart.

yer best bet is to buy yer self about 200 leds from modsthatglow, open the housing of the altezzas and wire them all up.

Cheaper, Better looking.. and probaly longer lasting.

Cool.... I really wanted that pattern thought it looked pimp.
Oh well, I already have led bulb replacements in my stockers. I guess I'll just stick with those. the 200 leds thing sounds good, but I'm not crafty like that. But I'm sure if it looked anything like my gixxer tail light it would be pimp.
