Talking Found the Answer to Mysterious Rear Skirts on the Mazdaspeed Mx6!!

Everyone has been wanting to figure out what rear skirts are installed on the sweet silver mazdaspeed mx6 below. The quote about them being honda civic rear skirts is incorrect. They are 1996-2003 Mitsubishi Mirage/Lancer CE rear skirts in Australia. Most of them came as a standard option and they are plastic, so you can easily move and twist them to fit. Great thing is you can find these at junkyards, dismantlers, or used auto parts places almost anywhere in New Zealand, Australia, etc for a cheap price for $60shippedUS or so (if they are really nice to you). So now people can have a complete mazdaspeed lip kit with the rear skirts. Wow, karma should be hanging out the doors! lol

Nope.. that's a MazdaSpeed rear wing.
Not many of them about, and usually cost loads if you do find one.

If I remember correctly, the civic wing is lower than the MS one and can have a brake light in it. The MS one doesn't.

I think this is a civic one.

russell is correct about everything that is the MS wing and is damn near impossible to find, and the civic wing is much smaller than that. this must be big news on this site it brought russell all the way from the UK forum over to the 2g appearance!

LOL. I don't know what you mean. I try to look around and spread my little bit of knowledge.
It's good to know I can contribute every now and again... and besides.. it's a hell of a swim, so has to be worth it to get me over here

Has anyone ever tried using z24 sides and maybe rears? I bet you can get them dirt cheap too.
