Yeah, im pretty sure that its legal. as pearson said, you can buy dark lenses for the front lights. Be sure to post up some pictures after you do it. I have a silver mx6 too and have been thinking about darkening the tails.

Just because you can buy them, that doesnt mean they are legal.

The ones for the fronts are only legal during the day, not at night. Hence the reason they come with removable tabs/velcro, so you can put them on/take them off easily.

The tails... well that just depends on how much of a prick the cop wants to be. Im pretty sure its illegal, but most wont hassle you for it.

tinting lights is illegal, except i suppose fogs wouldn't be since you could argue that i4s don't even come with them.

most people don't get pulled over for it or hassled when it comes to tails. many cars came with dark/black taillights stock and most cops aren't going to know what a mx6 is.

headlights is a different story. in VA, you will be pulled over quickly in the day. you shouldn't do it anyways. i don't think completely black headlights looks good. and aspecs already are horrible for light output so why would you make it that much worse?

In a lot of states actually, it is illegal to change pretty much anything to the car. So anything that isn't stock from the factory can be illegal. But cops don't really care much, tail lights tinting in Oregon cops dont really care about them never heard anything about cops hasseling people. The headlights are fine during the day, but a cop will possibly hassle you on that at night time. But also you wont be able to see much at night too, which is a bad safety hazard. And deff. sucks in the rain when u can barely see as it is. Foglights really are irrelevant, just cuz some cars dont come with them, just an option. Minor accessity or how u would call it.

tint all the lights if you want but instead of tinting the headlights get the smoke headlight covers so you can take them off at night.

Like everyone else said that should be completely legal. I advise against tinting the reverse piece of the tail lights cause that might be illegal in some states and it could cause an accident.
