angel eye fitment?

I just got my angel eyes in last night and installed them today (sorta). i still gotta wire the halos but the bigger question is about fitment... seems like if i get it flush with the corner lamp side then its off and there is a gap between the middle of the front bumper.... is this normal? I ask because the two bolts that hold them in on each side arnt there. I have one bolt on each side right now because there was a screw in place of one of the bolts on each side when i took out the Aspecs (gotta love when people rig things...)

mine is exactly like that except that the corner edges stick out about .25" from the fender. 2 of my other friends lights didnt fit either and they had to trim here and there. these headlights weren't excatly made for perfect fitment.

ohh man wiring nightmare..... the friggin wiring harness they come with is absolute POOP!!! only one headlight was working for a long time and it took a hour of me and my friend trouble shooting to figure out that a wire inside the relay was grounding out.... which meant alota stripping and electrical tape..... i hooked up the halos for one second for shizzlez and gigglez to the headlights + and - and they look pretty cool. If i hook up the halos to the turn signals will the halos be on whenever the lights are turned on? and will they flicker or blink when the turn signals are activated?

If they are hooked up to the same wires as the blinker, they should blink when the blinkers do.
Mine are actually just hooked directly, so even when my car is off, the halo's stay on.... pretty sweet effect, and if won't drain the battery.... If you do that, be prepared to have alot of people telling you that you left your lights on lol.
Have fun with the setup.

what about if i spliced into the side marker lights down on the side of the front bumper? wouldent the halos come on whenever the lights are turned on? i want the halos to run all the time when the lights are on but not when the car is off or when the lights are off. If i have them to the turn signals will they only be on when i use my turn signals?

Karma for help btw!

mine are also wired to the side markers and the cool effect i have with them is when i activate my alarm, my side markers flash, making the halos flash. or at least 3 of them since one of the high beam leds is out .

anyways, i got my clear covers at autozone.com. you're going to have to slightly modify them to fit your halos because they have tabs that are meant for the oem lights. when i first got them i used clear silicone sealant but even then, they leaked water between the covers and halos so i just took the sealant off and used the hood to pin them in place until one day when i forgot to fully close the hood and one of the covers fell off.

by checking the project/faq section instead of bumping a month old thread.
