http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...4062007164.jpg

its sittin on 18s 2inch dish, i asked for a one inch drop, but does that look lower than what a 1 inch drop would do?

im planning to buy tokico coilovers that come with 1inch drop and wasnt sure if itll look the same due to my car maybe being a bit lower than that

thanks

I love the espec headlights, blue paint, and the wheels. To answer your question it does look like the car was dropped more than an inch.

My car is going to be the bastard love child of a JDM, ESPEC, and USDM Mx6 threesome.

It's getting there.

Very Nice. It looks pretty low to me. Now tint and possibly a lip kit and you're done. Unless of course your going turbo.

Actually, that looks an awful lot like a 1" drop. The mx6 factory is a really low car, my car is actually sitting a little higher than stock (stiffer struts and higher comp. rate springs with same free length and # of coils = higher) and it's still pretty low. I'd say that's probably as advertised.

Sorry if I don't see you at the track... kinda hard to get a good look in the rearview.

was my post helpful? add to my reputation (click the green check/red "X" button).

it may look like more than a one inch drop since he has the big wheels on there which will eat up the gap

What do you mean you "asked" for 1" drop, find a magic genie or something?

Tokico doesn't have coil-overs for our car, just springs with a 1" drop. Did you have the springs cut or something?

well i asked the place that put in my springs for a one inch drop, they said they could get em resized, using that heating method i believe, bit dodgey

maybe coilovers was the wrong word, them tokico hp non adjustables are the ones i want, the blue struts and red springs ones

probly an easier way to work this out would be to ask if anyone knows the stock height from a point of the underbody and ill measure it up against mine, so does anyone know?

people are a bunch of idiots, i have mentioned wanting to lower my car for performance nad i was told to cut the springs. i mentioned getting aftermarket shocks and specific springs too which i got laughed at.

Worst thread ever.
