retro corner lights

i think it would look better if someone would make a retor corner light aswell. so if there is someone out there would like to experiment and share it with the rest of us that would be nice.

What's different about a "retro" corner light versus stock?

my plan: remove the lens and sand the grooves out, polish and cover with one or two clear coats. remove the inner plastic piece that covers the bulb, sand the inside of the housing and paint the housing black. i also might use fiberglass and mold leds into it removing the bulb completely

That's the only pic I have of mine. They don't look like that anymore as that pic was taken at the beginning stages. The inside are painted black (except for the reflector of coarse)

The covers would be awesome if they were clear smooth plastic, not that striped rippled pattern.

(P.S. Gross! Are those fingernail clippings!?!?!)

yeah I did, I used plexi. I used the originals for the mold, placed them in the oven with the new piece of plexi laying over top and let them form to the shape of the originals.
