Retro fit projector help needed, please.

Ok, so I decided to go ahead and try a projector-retro fit project with a spare set of headlights, and Stealth`s right-up/how-to about how to do it. The thing is I have no, or very little clue on what projectors he/to use(d). I PM`d him about it but i didn`t get a response, so I figured I`d ask around for help.

I read that a lot of people use the TSX projectors. Is there any place I can get those for cheap?

I also looked closely at a Mazda6, and I like the headlights, but I'm not sure if they have projectors in the light cluster.

I know I'm asking alot of questions, but I think that the best way to learn is ask questions and try things after being guided a little. So any help will be aprreciated, and if I can figure out how to give karma, I will for those who help me out.

Thanks, laterzzzzz.

Yeah, TSX's would be a good choice because of their small size. I used them in my retro...however I am now working on new ones with bi-xenon so I can have high beams.

I suggest you check out hidplanet.com and go to their forums. You will find everything you need to know about building a retro there. Not to mention there is a buy and sell forum there as well where you can most certainly find the projectors you are looking for. Expect to fork over $150 range for the TSX's.

Hope that helps.

just check ebay for tsx projectors. I got mine for 115 shipped. Be careful to make sure you're getting clear lenses and not the frensled ones or however you spell it. there are a few threads here and there on retrofits, and i know i've added my share of threads asking all kinds of questions. if you want a good way to search mx6 that'll work better than the forum search engine, go to google and type in "projector retrofit site:www.mx6.com" without the quotes
