They both require cutting the metal behind the headlight to accommodate the projector and they both require rewiring your headlights. I would say it's more of a personal choice. Especs were a lot more rare until recently. Now it seems like the UK guys are always selling a set. They are even close to the same price. The going rate for a set of Especs or Jspecs seems to be $350. I like Especs.

ok, now that i see the difference, i'd go with the e-specs mainly b/c of the daytime running light that Chefspot pointed out. both look good though.

I say jspecs as the corner liights of the especs are Cheapo plastic. I had both sets at one time and compared them but the cheap plastic look of the corners was the deal breaker for me. It looks good from a distance but when you look close up...

jspecs are hotness, despite the fact that jspec install is actually easier, it is a FACT that it is personal choice based on what you think will look better on your car. Nobody can argue with that

The prospect of outsized profits leads people to exaggerate their own capabilities. In their minds. They pretend to themselves that they are in control of events where perhaps they are not. And it is always one's stance upon uncertain ground that invites the attention of one's enemies. or discourages it.

Haha, I stand corrected! 626 Jspecs.
David- Aren't the whole Jspec lights made from cheapo plastic? At least Especs have a glass surface. ![]() I'm really not knocking either set of lights. It could be worse, you could have angel eyes. I4MX6 and Honda ETR were/are the only two cars that look good without Jspecs or Especs. Clean ass stockers FTW! You just have to have clear fogs to match. |

Very true... if the especs had glass corners I'd have opted for them hands down. The jspecs are uniform. The especs shiny sharp looking glass coupled with the cheap plastic corner just ruins it. Also overall size is a bit smaller as well as the corner and main headlamp just don't seem to jive together.

Well I'll probably be getting E-specs IF my original plan doesn't work out. And here is a "hint" to what it is. My uncle lives in Japan and is going to get me J-specs and MS wing. Lol ![]() |
