stock spoiler moving back???

i was wondering if it has been asked or is it just to retarded, that the stock spoiler moved farther back would work or not??

i actually like it. well, this one had a kit on, so a stock bodied mx6 might look fugly.

If the Oem spoiler position looks fine the way it is, Why change it ?

i dont like it....i think it looks better a little off the back of the car...i wonder would it catch a better flow of air farther back and while at high speeds could it focus a better down force on the rear of the car farther back...i like it anyways farther back

Because they don't, It's too even with the truck, it needs to be farther out maybe 2".

Yeah that is Mitches (Malkara) car, i remember helping him drill the holes when we moved his back 3".

3" huh..
i wanted to get an old trunk with a spoiler to just try it out, but i can't find one locally.
i really want to see what it looks like on a stock body.

my cars completely stock body and where the spoiler meets the trunk i think it rusted threw..so i think ill when i go to the u-pull it yard ill get the trunk with no spoiler and add mine to it so theres no welding extra holes up ...im gonna try and mold it in as well to prevent the water from ever getting in..

i found an aluminum areospeed spoiler for 40 bucks but i think ill put it on if i dont like the way the stock one turns out

either have no spoiler, or use the stock spoiler.

come on the one piece design isnt to bad...im not a fan of the big goofy one...but this one is ok i think it does look like a park bench....lol..but would look good on a mx6
