New Civic Si wheels on an Mx6?

I have been trying to find a decent looking set of 17's for my car. It turns out that the wheels from the new civic si have a 5x114 lug pattern and an offset of 45. They should sit almost perfectly flush with the fender on an Mx6 right? Does anyone know the weight of these wheels?

Personally I think they would look pretty good on an Mx6. What do you think?

My car is going to be the bastard love child of a JDM, ESPEC, and USDM Mx6 threesome.

It's getting there.

they look awesome... especially with those honda hub caps, those must cost a fortune by itself.

You might want to consult this thread first:

http://www.mx6.com/forums/gallery/16...ew-wheels.html (Quick glimpse of my new wheels on.)

I do know that the RSX/Civic Si wheels are swappable, so I would imagine you will need to have the center machined out like metros did.

I guess he meant the center caps, which would OBVIOUSLY be removed if they were put onto a Mazda.

Malicious- good point man. I guess it could turn into a pretty big project if the hub size isn't right.

The gunmetal ones in the second picture kick ass. I think they might look good on an Mx6, but they are just another set of factory wheels.

Searching for the right wheels is so time consuming. I was thinking about putting bronze wheels on my car but after I thought about it I didn't think I would like the look for very long. Silver or gunmetal are my top choices right now. I'm not sure if I want wheels with a lip on them or not. I've seen too many instances where the lip makes the wheels look smaller than they actually are. I also don't like how my current wheels have extra holes after they're installed. I want something that's only made for a 5x114 lug.

These are my top two choices right now.

Nexo SS-5

Exel Ennio

I'm not sure if I could pull this look off on my car.
