How to: HID Fog Lights

Do you have the fogs hooked up so they are always on? or just for your high beams?

the aftermarket harness actually comes with its own switch so u can run them independently of the high/low beam

Can anyone post a link to the wiring harness that was used or something similar?

This what you need, you will have to remove the 9004 connector and only use two wires. Put new ends on the stock connector, join the two and you are off to the races.

Thanks for the link. Is that the one that has the switch? It would be cool to use them as drls. And did you have to remove the metal peice inside the light?

if youve seen other foglight mods other then the led turn signal let me know

No switch with this. If you want to do it as the DRL mod, google, there are a couple of How To's on the site. For YOU. Like me, Canada has the DRL to contend with. I have a 94 so i was able to pull out the DRL relay under the hood and voila, with the harness, I have HID DRL with the flick of a switch. Switch being the headlight switch to flip on the indicators.

Awesome, im running j specs so I can probably just splice a switch in there since the wiring is already cut, I like the idea of having that option. I appreciate the help
