Funny quote. I put the FC's (BBS style) on my MX-6 last Summer. They weighed under 13 lbs after I had the center bored to 67.1mm to fit the second gen MX-6. They are so light compared to my old Excels. I put the Excels in the garage and haven't wanted to put them on since. LOL.

I'll send him an email and see if I get a response. If possible could the forum share a picture hosting account or something along the lines of that so this doesn't happen anymore? Just throwing ideas out there.

Okay I am trying to follow this guide and I am running into problem with removing the weld points. I have already drilled out the double sided bolts and don't know how to remove the wields without drilling directly down into the seat mounts themselves and creating more holes in the stock mounts. Any particular ways to do this?
Oh wow! Welcome back to mx6.com! It's been awhile. I am interested to hear how you removed your weld points.
I was talking to some friends of mine and they were saying to use an angle grinder with a metal grinding wheel to remove the weld points off the mounts. Something like this
I am thinking about going out and buying one, what do you guys think?
I would bet that some place rents an angle grinder. There are several shops that will rent tools like Home Depot, Lowe's, Autozone, Discount Auto, Napa, etc... Call around and ask.
