Hey are these sidskirts and the litte thing at the rear bumper from MAzdaspeed? They are very nice!!!

Those are the Mazdaspeed skirts yeah. And I'm 99% sure the rear add ons are Mazdaspeed too. That isn't my car in the pic so I wouldn't know for 100% sure.

And yes, they do look nice. Everytime I look at that picture I think why I didn't take mazdaspeed over buddy club kit... Oh well, it'll be nice even with the BC kit.

Yes, mazdaspeed still makes these as far as I know. Try corksport for pricing. There are really only few places that sell these. And the price for just sides is around the same as you could get a glasfiber kit but I'm not going to say if it's any better cause mazdaspeed kit does look very clean and fresh still.

Haha, don't we all wish that rear bumper valence is made by Mazdaspeed! I'll say they are NOT made by Mazdaspeed because I contacted Corksport, from whom I originally bought my Mazdaspeed skirts and front lip, regarding the rear valence and they responded that there is no such Mazdaspeed component. I couldn't believe Mazdaspeed would make such a gross omission, so I obtained their catalog and nowhere in there is there a picture or listing for a rear bumper valence.

I think somebody already tried contacting the owner of the silver MX-6 pictured above, but I don't know how far that went. I'm pretty sure that's a Japanese car, so if anybody here knows Japanese, you might want to try making contact in their language and see if you have better luck in finding out more about this car and in particular the rear bumper parts.

sorry but i'm new at this...

i was wondering if the ninja side skirts need to be fiberglassed on to the side of the car or are they just a bolt-on kind of deal..

If not is there a body kit that is just a bolt-on kind of thing

First off,
No question is a dumb question. Everyone had to start somewhere. I believe the kit gets bolted (or screwed) onto the body, and the holes are filled with a filler. You can then have the kit painted, or, if you want it to look like the car came with the kit on (meaning, it looks like it should be there, not added on later) you can have the kit molded to the car.

I'm a little late in saying this but about the Mazdaspeed kit... Yes those back pieces are made by Mazdaspeed and are part of the kit. They are called ornament bases. If you look at the picture that was posted from the Mazdaspeed catalog you will see that they are posted right above the side skirts. I guessing that Corksport just said that they are not part of the body kit so that they would not have to get them. I have no idea why Corksport would not be able to get them. Seems a little fishy...

Yea I'm also wondering why corksport doesn't make a mold for a front lip spoiler for the 2nd gen mx6s and sell it for cheaper like they did for the ford probes?

Jello-g. I contacted the owner of that silver 6 with the rear lip and this is what he said:

Hello Ruby,

Its a wings west tail for a civic. I had to fiberglass it a little to get it to fit right. I have all the usual stuff intake exhaust etc but noting crazy.

Not sure on the year of the civic, but its made from Wings West.

I appreciate the mention of our H -style kits , how ever the current cost on the front and sides is $700CDN or about $450USD.
Should also mention we do carry most other lines of kits aswell.
