Ruubstr94Ls, thank you for sharing that information. I never thought they were Mazdaspeed components and that silver MX-6 owner's response confirms that.

LilRed, what year Mazdaspeed catalogue are you referencing? The catalogue I have refers to an ornament base, but has no such picture as you describe.

pricing

The prices are listed in US dollars, just as all prices from the other shops. This makes it easy to compare. Then you pay shipping/handling charges. When you convert to CANADIAN dollars, there is also fees for customs clearance. So if you were quoted over a g, I guess you are in canada, or failed to say that you are in the US.

Spoilers T.O.

I just got my buddy club kit from Spoilers T.O., and they had excellent service. Responded to emails quickly with good answers, low price and I received the kit 14 days from the time I sent out the money order. I definitely would do business with them again.

i was just wondering. is there a reason why some places sell their body kits cheaper. my friend bought the black widow kit for his civic and he bought the cheaper one. he said that it's better to go with the more expensive ones because they're not as cheap made and less holes and looks better. are the cheaper ones just like prototypes or are they all the same meaningless of price. just wanted to know so when i buy a body kit it doesn't look like a cheap clone.

ZE IM, 65MM TB, Millenia S injectors, HS Headers, MBX Underdrive pulley, Intrax Springs, HS CAI, 2.5" Random Tech Hi-flo cat, 2.5" VRS Exhaust w/magnaflow resonator and muffler, HS STS, NGK plugs, Iridium IX spark plugs, JMUSPIKE ground wires and FD wheels.
14.91@93.74 mph before the ZE IM, 65MM TB and Millenia S injectors were installed and a leaking exhaust. Right now clutch is starting to slip on fast shifts from 1st to 2nd.

Cool Why prices vary...

Well, this is speculation on my part in this instance, but in my previous experience with fiberglass work, I have learned that after several uses, the molds/dies need adjustment, and occasionally, you will find slight variations in the materials.
The machines are then re-adjusted or re-aligned, and molds are re-lined.
Some of the last runs right before the resetting are sometimes sold at a discount, as they take a little more work and effort to install, without effecting the quality.
My previous experiance was with Jeep and Landcruiser bodies, so I by no means am an expert, just thinking that the same logic applies here.

You all are forgetting about another great site.... www.illicit-racing.com Shogun and Invader for $450, Buddy club for $500, and the pakfeifer (sp?) kit for $1000. Cheapest site ive ever seen for body kits. They also have a carbon fiber hood for the MX6 available, in case anyone is interested. I think its fairly cheap too. Im getting the Shogun kit from this site soon, so if anyone has anything to say about this site, as to why I shouldnt order from them before I do, please post in this thread or PM me, because I wouldnt want to make a mistake. I just know this is THE cheapest site ive ever seen for body kits, and I dont think many people know about it.
Chris
