What kind of wastegate are you using? SSAC or derivative there of?

If that was a realitively stock engine (aka, stock control) there is only a few things it can possibly be:

1. Leak at exhaust port(s) on the head
2. Leak where the hot pipe bolt to the headers
3. Leak where the turbo bolts to the up pipe

4. Bad SSAC Turbo (used to be very common)
5. Stuck wastegate/bad wastegate (still very common for SSAC)

6. Boost leak in your relatively short intake piping. That looks like an Ebay BOV as well, so that could be "flopping" open with boost as well.

Sidenote:

Please tell me you have a restrictor installed in that oil feed line!

I believe that elbow to the TB from the VAF will leak. It looks like the stocker, they aint good for anything. If you dint already plug the nipple on the back that connects the large hose to the rear of the IM, that could be a leak source.

Where is the vac hose from the turbo going? That should be connect to the wastegate

Yes...he is correct. Remove that. Your asumption is also correct, That size turbo won't make any boost on our motor by revving at idle.

What are you doing to get more fuel in the motor?

HOW DO YOU CLOSE THREAD????

I got this problem solved.... I didn't know you had to load the engine to get boosted everything is fine now.... oh and thanx But my rubber hose is fine and adding a restrictor to my 1/8" oil inlet is a sure way TO GRENADE MY MADE IN CHINA EBAY TURBO!!!!

as for the stock pipe after the VAF its holding up fine maybe a slight leak but I'll convert it to silicone sometime later since itz boosting fine

Not adding a restrictor is a sure way to blow oil by the seals and burn alot of oil.

Turbos require very small amounts of oil psi, The motor puts out alot more then there rated for.

it seams mine is a wet floating bush bearing turbo, recently I read a huge article on a magazine about turbo basics(probably 5 full pages with pics) they say my type need more oil than others and they mentioned twice that oil starvation could get the oil seals burnt away but didn't say high pressure was bad.

WOW!!!!! I havnt been on mx6.com in a LONNNGG time, and i come back to read two full threads from copex. I am in awww..... You sir, have to be one of the dumbest mother [fizzle]ers i have seen yet!

First of all, that oil supply line is WAY to big for your turbo. Oil starvation is definitly an issue, but turbo's literaly need a fine mist of oil to keep lubricated. If your not running a restrictor, you will see a very nice cloud of blue smoke coming out of your tail pipe. Then the seals on the turbo are eventually going to fail.

SECOND OF ALL, boosting your car without any sort of fuel upgrades is just plain RETARDED!!!! The stock ecu has no clue what boost is, and will not compensate for the added HP/pressure the turbo creates. So while you are in positive pressure, you are DEFINITLY LEAN! If you think your engine is going to last you 3 years of daily driving with not so much as even an upgraded fuel pump and fmu, your going to be sadly mistaken.

And lastly, my favorite part of everything you have said "MS tunes it self"....... JESUS [fizzle]IN CHRIST! Yes, MS has an auto tune feature, but like it was stated before, you need to have it set up properly, have a decent VE table already tuned, and a wideband hooked up so that autotune can make FINE adjustments! You dont just SLAP it together and turn the key and bingo it tunes the car for you! Installation: a bunch of wires eh? You really need to do some more research..... im taking bets that your car wont last the summer let alone 3 years! I know guys that have run PROPER setups, not his half assed crap and their cars dont last that long on 10psi.

Sorry but i just cant believe it, i havnt been around in a while, so i figured i would come back to a community that would have grown, and become alittle more knowledgeable about forced induction, and how to set them up properly, since it has come ALONG way!! But yet, i come back to retards like this! YEEEEPPPIIIEE!!!!!!!!

The whole reason i get annoyed with ppl like you, is because you come on here thinking you know everything, telling ppl how it is. When in fact, you have zero practicle knowledge. People on here are trying to help you out and give you VERY GOOD advice, but yet you choose not to take it. With that said, I hope you have fun! Hope you have fun putting new engines in your car!
