you must of missed this part of the listing

NOTE:
The winner of this auction does not get a physical product. This Auction is to raise funds for a Charity.
Any money raised in this Auction will be donated to Variety Queensland, "The Children's Charity" Variety Queensland Welcome Page (feel free to contact them via the contact info on their site to verify this is a legitimate fund raising Auction.)

Happy Bidding.

if your that annoyed with it, and do not want to see any money going to variety, you are free to report it at any time.
I didnt miss it. It has nothing to do with it.

You must have missed the rules I qouted.

i dont see any money going to anything. You forget, its an auction. Some one has to end up winning and forking over the money for the stupid joke. Someone. not someones. If donating is so important to you, Why dont you match the winning bid.

your basically auctioning off a donation to the charity under a false auction. Wich I dont think is even allowed on ebay,

Look under listing violations.
If you can find a flaw, let me know. Becuase ill be the first to auction off the king6 modification with a percentage donation to charity. (goota take in account that my time to set an auction up is worth something)

Hey kIng

I seem to have hit some raw nerve with you, it was not my intention.

the auction goes for 10 days.. in the first 24 hours its had over 700 views tons of people watching it and 4 bids.

so who knows what will happen, it could get deleted, or it could go very well and make s few $ for the charity.

If you can think of something else positive to happen with the copex thing, Im all ears

I'll phone ebay australia in the morning and run it by them and see if or what needs changes to suit their TOS

I have dealt with ebay on large charity auctions in the past.. they generally bend over backwards to help charities, so we'll see what happens.

pete

I guess I dont understand all the excitement about all this.

To me, its just a bunch of morons getting a laugh out of another moron.

Theres just a select few people who actually get there kicks off of this, the rest just go along with it (uh, whats a turbo?...). And theres people like me, who dont understand why people waist there time, as if this was the stupidest thing ever done. When Ive seen people JB weld cracks on the turbine housing, duct tape couplers together, weld broken cv axles, even weld flywheels to cranks..

Lighten up mate, I guess humor is wasted on you. If you cant see the funny side of firstly copex making his own 6psi ninja star ejection machine, secondly a copex fan site, and finally somone having a joke on ebay with all proceeds going to charity then mate... you need to loosen up a bit.

Quoting ebay rules is just plain dumb, and his advert wasnt/isnt misleading, but then you'd know that if you bothered to read ALL of it. At this point I'm sure you spout off more semantics but I've already lost intrest. Move on so you can have a whinge about somthing else.

I would hope that if this is a legitimate auction that you would follow through even if the auction ends with only a dollar but I don't see that being the case. Call me jaded, call me cynical, I call myself realistic because the world is full of bad people riding coat tails off things like this just to make a buck. You'd be one of the most pathetic people ever if you stiffed on the auction and I for one hope that your testiculars fall off if you do.
I really hope you werent jumping to the conclusion that I put that on ebay... I dont have any interest in making [shizzle] like this up for fun, im not a geek who lives on the net like you. I just happened to see that on a different forum.

So your telling me I can put stuff on ebay (such as a car) Put a description of it, a picture of it, and then in fine print, note that anyone bidding will not be getting anything, and all proceeds go to charity. And that is perfectly ok. So anyone searching, i dunno, an mx6.. and sees my Mx6 up for sale, is fair game.

It was funny to see copex make a crappy turbo crappier. But everything else that has went on is just lame. i have a sense of humor, but then again im not 17 and have no life. It doesnt appear that copex made his own fan site.. but instead some one made it about him, impersenating him.

That appears to be the case. That's fine.

Ok fine, so laughing at it makes one a moron. You're entitled to yours.

Hmm, 150K views and only just a select few understand what's wrong with the picture? Ok, you're entitled to your analysis.

Ahhh... Do you feel slighted? Feeling the need for attention? Seems you've wasted plenty of time on "morons laughing at another moron". What is it about this that has compelled you to even waste the time following the thread?

copex making this site popular? *I* want 2004 back.

I for one don't follow the thread. I just read it every so often and post every so often. I think other boards are actually having a better time with this but I'd be willing to bet that most of the threads on other boards don't have many replies in them either.

Bottom line is that copex does not speak for MX6.com or it's members. The village called for him a long time ago.
