Wondering about megasquirt maps

Hey, i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get megasquirt maps to get my car running. I have a lot of turbo stuff and want to put it all together with a megasquirt. I just need the maps to get everything started so it can be fine tuned later. And also what is the typical way of metering air with the megasquirt setup, do you convert from mass air flow to mass air pressure?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Wow, thanks. That's an awesome link. Radar, i read an old post of yours saying that you could custom build a megasquirt ranging from 300 to 700 dollars depending on what is wanted, Do you still do this? And i take it that's your MX6 making 327whp in your signiture space, is that on stock internals?

Megasquirt Bulk Buy #5 - ProbeTalk.com Forums

Mate get in on that now asap. I did, best thing ever. Im pretty sure Radar/shaodome said this is his last bulk buy, so get in while you can. Best couple of hundred bucks you will ever spend. Lay off the hookers, get on the megasquirt bulk buy.

Hey Radar...I have a 2000 mazda 626 v6 with the KlG4. I have a Distributor less ignition, i am sure you are familiar with the set up..didn't you do a klze swap for kritter a while back? Anyways, what kind of a megasquirt set up would i need for my car? I would be interested in participating in the bulk buy if you could tell me everything i would need. I think everything is pretty much the same as a probe or mx-6. I don't want to buy a wiring harness for the probe if it won't work on my 626. What do you think?

Ya i really want to, but i'm a bit nervous about setting up all the initial stuff like the cranking injection, and pulse widths, and all the warm up settings. Did you do it all yourself? and do you know of anywhere where i could find a wiring diagram on how to wire a magasquirt to a 93 MX6 LS.

Radar loads everything onto the megasquirt like pulse widths and all constants and even a base map that will allow you to drive around with (i have been driving on my base map for 2 months almost. He gives you all the wiring diagrams. It took me about 2 hours to solder the wires, and I took my time. All you have to do is start the car after that and Megasquirt is running the show. It really is that easy. Add some money for a wideband or for a shop to tune it for you and you are set.

Look at this way, Basic off the shelf standalone, at least $1000 for unit, $500 for installation, $500 for setting up constants. That is bare minumum, go look at that thread for prices on a Megasquirt.

I might get attacked for saying this, but you dont need to know jack [shizzle] about megasquirt. The standard package from the bulk buy, an IAT sensor and a wideband (which you already have) then 2 hours of your time. I cant preach to reccomend it more. Im not even tuning for now because I need my car on the road getting a decent mpg atm so that I can take my gf to the coast everynow and then go on holidays etc. Im getting a shop to tune it for me, $300 it is costing. Which is jack [shizzle] really.

Cf_z get any money you have, get in on the probetalk bulk buy. Then you can hastle Radar with your questions later like what I do(did).

If i remember right, you can buy assembled units off diyautotone, and even ebay. However its not going to be as easy as a unit from radar.
You dont need to know anything. I got mine and didnt know a damn thing.
....and I still dont.

Yup...you can absolutely get one from Jerry (DIY Autone) or Glen at Glensgarage, both are well made units.

The downside is none of them will work without modification (unless you go fuel only) and don't come with any of the fun mods, like launch control, prog. outputs, wiring diagrams, install instructions, etc.
