Who has the highest HP in 2G?

On Probetalk or MX6.com, doesn't matter. I'm just curious why nobody has jumped on these rods:
http://www.mx6.com/forums/fs-engine-...-250-more.html (FS: Megasquirt, H beam forged rods for KL $255, BIG IHI GM/T3 turbo $250, more)

So who has the most here?

The guy I was going to buy turbo pipes from gandarilla is now hitting 500hp from memory. Dan(sac) is around there as well running 10's. For those on stock engines though hitting big numbers fastest95pgt and Radar are both above 300hp on stock internals (from memory).

That is a crazy crazy good deal though. When I [fizzle] my rods in 6 months I will regret not jumping on it. They are worth that much each almost.

Almost makes me want to buy a 2G just to buy the rods. I've contemplated the KL in my 1G more than once but it would take a lot of work to get it done. That and I don't have all the componants. I guess I could get everything from the junkyard but I haven't been motivated enough to care about doing it. Maybe buying a second daily driver will change that, or not.

Not in California. Not to mention that KL's can be found for $150 for a long block and $85 for a transmission on 50% off weekend at the local wrecking yards. FE3's are non existant in the U.S except for the Kia Sportage which in all the years I have been going to multiple yards in my city....have never come acrossed.

IIRC Victor on PT was running over 500whp on his built turbo'd KL also (Running low 11's?)

I know Matt Maas was running ~500whp too, but since then I think he's done the 2jz RWD swap on his 2g.

I wont buy them, because I dont intend on going forged internals on my car, but when it blows and I do go forged, ill be real pissed when I fork out $1200AU for a set of Rods. But that is life.

You buy them, and I promise in 3 months or less ill buy them off you for $50 more . That is an investment.

EDIT - I dont want to spend anymore money. If this would just replace my stock rods straight up, and it was so easy I would. But pulling the engine apart, and its not like im not going to buy pistons while im there. Saving a couple of hundred bucks, will cost me thousands still.

Those are nice. Are those better than my Pauter Rods? It's hard to tell from these pics, but they look pretty close.

The H-Beam rods mentioned above

My car is going to be the bastard love child of a JDM, ESPEC, and USDM Mx6 threesome.

It's getting there.

Pauter rods are indeed stronger and significantly way more proven. In reality, why bother with that much power. If ANY of you have ridden in a 350whp+ KL on the street, you would realize most of the power is wasted. The rest of it, is just a time bomb the stock weak trans.

FWIW, danSAC made is best run by shaving off some power since it resulted in spinning his slicks....then shortly after, his transmission went "poof"

Brandon made 400whp daily, but corrected for altitude and I believe he bend 5 of the 6 rods on that dyno session So if at sea level, his turtle would be making more power, but it continues on due to being so high up.
